Labs Foundations, Inc. (“Labs Foundations,” “the Foundation,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Delaware nonprofit corporation and is currently progressing toward recognition as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and is the philanthropic arm of Labs Companies, Inc. (Incorporation as a Delaware nonprofit corporation and federal tax-exemption under Section 501(c)(3) are separate statuses: the incorporation is complete, and 501(c)(3) recognition is pending and not yet granted.) This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how and why we use it, when we share it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to labsfoundations.org and any related pages, forms, and communications that link to this Policy (the “Services”).
This Policy covers personal information handled by Labs Foundations in the course of operating the Services, engaging with supporters, and carrying out our charitable mission. Labs Foundations is a separate legal entity from Labs Companies, Inc.; where we work with the parent company or the 7 Frontier Foundations and impact arms within our structure, we do so consistent with this Policy. This Policy does not govern the practices of independent third parties we do not control.
We collect only what we need to run the Foundation and respond to you. The categories may include:
We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal information (such as government identifiers, health, or precise geolocation), and we ask that you not send them to us through the Services.
We collect information directly from you (when you contact us, subscribe, donate, volunteer, or apply); automatically as you use the Services (through cookies and analytics); and, occasionally, from service providers who help us operate — for example, an email or payment provider that confirms a message was delivered or a gift processed.

If you make a gift, payment is processed by third-party payment processors, and card or bank numbers are provided directly to them — Labs Foundations does not store full payment-card numbers on its own systems. We retain a record of the gift (such as amount, date, designation, and acknowledgment details) as required for charitable accounting, donor stewardship, and tax reporting. We honor requests to remain anonymous in public materials, and we do not sell, rent, or trade donor information. Tax receipts and the deductibility of a gift are addressed in our acknowledgments; we are not able to provide individual tax advice.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would require an opt-out. We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy — for example, to maintain correspondence, to steward supporters, and to meet the recordkeeping, tax, and accounting obligations that apply to a public charity — after which we delete or de-identify it.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encryption in transit for our website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; please use care in what you send us.
The Foundation is based in the United States, and the Services are operated there. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those of your location. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
The Services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where a higher age applies). If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
